Although the main focus of Apple's September 12th event was undoubtedly the iPhone 15, other exciting announcements included the introduction of the second-generation AirPods Pro earbuds with a USB-C case, as well as two updates to their watch lineup: the Apple Watch Series 9 and the Apple Watch Ultra 2, both equipped with new processors.
The iPhone 15 lineup introduced a significant addition in the form of a new USB-C port. Additionally, each model now features the Dynamic Island. The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max stand out with the inclusion of an Action Button, which replaces the traditional mute toggle. These models also boast sleek titanium bodies, ultra-thin bezels, and a higher starting price point.
Apple also shared details about their upcoming software updates. iOS 17 is set to be released on Monday, September 18th, while macOS Sonoma is scheduled for release on September 26th. In terms of accessories, Apple unveiled their new "FineWoven" line, replacing the old leather cases. Furthermore, the Emergency SOS via satellite feature has been expanded to cover car-related issues, thanks to a new partnership with AAA.
